60th Birthday Parties!

My parents both turned 60 in November, so we had some fun celebrations.

For my mom's 60th, we went to Maggiano's and had a yummy dinner together. We even got a nice family picture out of it! :)

For my dad's 60th, we had a little party at their house.

Poppy Dave and Jacob show off the "Abraham Lincoln Penny cake." Gotta love Lovin' Oven! My dad is an Abraham Lincoln expert of sorts--he takes pictures of Lincoln statues around the country, speaks, and will someday have a book published of his photographs.
